Camping at Pattison - wrap up

This post will wrap up our camping trip, finally--just in time for L & M to take off on their next trip. Without me. :( They will leave Sunday, and I will spend the week and a half, while they are gone, lonely, whining and being completely lost without my girl!

During our last camping trip, Mark decided that L was old enough to learn to cook on the propane stove we use. She proved to be quite good and did a great job on the food she cooked. She is still an 'apprentice', rather than a 'master', according to M, though. He said something about her not using small enough turns to evenly cook all surfaces of his veggie italian sausages. They took longer to cook than the burgers, and by the time her burger was done, she was ready to abandon his sausages and eat. It was really funny to watch and listen to their cooking lessons.
He's also passed on his love of fire and burning things to both girls. L is a really good little campfire builder!

I'll wrap up with some shots that show some of the beautiful plant life in Wisconsin's woods.
